Vanilla Oats with Blueberry Milk and Hazelnuts

I love love love warm and comforting oats in the morning. A day without oats is a lost day in my life and I would definitely say I eat them in all kinds of shapes daily.

The vanilla accent in this version and the combination with the hot blueberry milk, tasted incredible.

You could eventually replace the blueberries with blackberries, I am sure that will taste just as great. You could also use the ingredients for an overnight oat jar.


Vanilla Oats with Blueberry Milk and Hazelnuts

  • Vanilla Oats:

  • 100g rolled oats

  • 200ml almond milk

  • 100ml water

  • 1 tsp vanilla bean

  • 2 Tbs agave

  • Blueberry Milk:

  • 80g fresh blueberries

  • 2 Tbs agave

  • 60ml almond milk
  • Step 1Heat up sauce pan with all ingredients for the vanilla oats. Once it starts making bubbles, put the lid on and remove from stove. Let sit for 10 minutes
  • Step 2
    Meanwhile in another small pot bring blueberries, almond milk and agave to a heat until the milk turns purple
  • Step 3
    Pour blueberry milk over the oats and top with hazelnuts and optionally some more blueberries.
